Sony Music Entertainment West Africa Presents: ONA DEMA – “NO TIME” featuring Dremo

ONA DEMA No Time Dremo

Sony Music Entertainment presents: Ona Dema – “No Time” featuring Dremo.

Industry fresher and benign songstress, Ona Dema comes through with a statement music debut for the year 2020 which features DMW star rapper, Dremo.

No Time” is Ona’s premier offering under her new management stable, Sony Music Entertainment West Africa, and the single is coming several months after a reinventing hiatus that saw the quintessential starlet dive even deeper into her sound while revamping her sultry and eccentric outlook.

Ona Dema is honing her place as one of the industry’s new school voices poised to capture the ears and hearts of many with her unique expression of sounds; a feat that continues to be an apt representation of her music as in her latest release “No Time,” which is a compelling meld of mesmerizing and sonic melodies with Dremo’s vigorous vocals and witty punchlines.

No Time” plays like an enchantress anthem. The production is demure but Styno shocks it to climax with a riveting bass spin embellished with hi-hats and riffs from the strumming sounds of a Spanish guitar. It is the kind of musical that sets the right mood to bask in pleasures, fantasies and bodily desires.

Something Is Happening On The Niger Bridge, and These Are Our Speculations

A few days ago, some travelers heading to the South-Eastern part of Nigeria reported an ongoing development on the popular Niger Bridge. This led to a plethora of suggestions from commuters and bystanders.

We didn’t want to miss out on the fun, so here are our own speculations:

Another Gate Maybe?
Sometime in May, while the interstate travel ban was in place, travelers were reported to be stranded at the Niger Bridge as a gate had suddenly appeared on the once free-to-pass bridge to prevent people looking to flout the law. While pictures suggest the new construction on the bridge is different, we can’t rule out the possibility of another gate or maybe a smaller one.

A Safety Equipment Installation
The lockdown might be over, but CoronaVirus is still spreading. With the way the new construction looks, we think the State Government might be working on a temperature check device that can detect commuters with fever-like readings. Seems far-fetched, but will definitely get the tag of either ultra-modern or state-of-the-art during its unveiling.

Another Brand Marketing Initiative
The Niger Bridge is a brand delight, as time and again, the bridge has been used to show off new campaigns from them, especially those predominant in the South-East. It will not be a far cry for some southeastern brand to be plotting a huge campaign with these constructions.

2020 has been a roller coaster year, and it will be interesting to see how this development unfolds.

Snakehips & Jess Glynne – “Lie For You” ft. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Davido

Snakehips & Jess Glynne Lie For You, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Davido

British music duo Snakehips & Jess Glynne teams up with American Rapper, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and African Pop star Davido to deliver this electron-dance tune “Lie For You”.

Snakehips & Jess Glynne – “Lie For You” featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Davido. There are few electronic artists who can attest to having as big a cultural impact as Snakehips, the London duo comprised of Oliver Lee and James Carter.

Across their ten-year career, the boys have amassed hundreds of millions of streams and record sales, performed on the main stages of the world’s biggest festivals and cultivated a global following in the process. Much like a snake shedding its skin, the Snakehips sound continues to evolve, with each layer being peeled back to reveal another exciting chapter in the story. First making their mark on the early-2010s alt-R&B scene with a flurry of lauded releases, they have since shifted towards a more dancefloor-focused vibe, dropping club records and refusing to be pigeonholed by any one style or genre.

Moving into the new decade, Snakehips continue with their exploration into dance music while losing none of the pop energy that has characterised their journey so far. Recent single ‘Wavez’, a collaboration with fellow London artist TroyBoi, delivers a maelstrom of future garage, modern hip-hop and slick lyricism – proving yet again just how far ahead of the curve they are. It follows ‘Summer Fade’, last year’s shimmering, synth-led single that paved the way for their house-and-disco-influenced new sound.

Lie For You” is their latest joint and it features A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie with Davido, Listen and Enjoy below…

LYRICS

[No, no
Oh, oh, no
Oh I’d lie for you]

You call baby I run
Don’t need to know what you’ve done
See you holding that gun
I don’t need to know
They come running for you
But I know it ain’t true
Swear I’ll cover for you
They don’t need to know

All the things that I’m thinking of, lately
Don’t need to say you already know, it’s crazy
Let’s jump on a plane or just run, baby
You don’t have to do it alone

Oh I’d lie for you
I can be your ears and eyes for you
Oh I’d do time for you
And even if I couldn’t
I’d try for you, oh
You got me and I know this
When you’re losing I’d notice
I’d lie for you
Even if I shouldn’t I’d lie for you

Davido’s Verse
Shawty an angel
Came down from heaven
The space she ah feel inside
I know your intentions
Follow your directions
‘Cause you a blessing in disguise
I won’t lie you relaxing my mind
Even when I got something bothering my mind
I stopped searching when I found you…  GET FULL LYRICS HERE

Sam Smith – “My Oasis” ft. Burna Boy

Sam Smith My Oasis Burna Boy

British singer, Sam Smith teams up with African Giant Burna Boy to share a new song titled “My Oasis”.

“My Oasis” featuring Burna Boy is Sam Smith new single which serves as a follow up to his recent joint with Demi Lovato – ‘I’m Ready‘.

According to Sam Smith in a statement; “This track has been a beautiful release of emotions for me during this time,” “I’ve been a fan of Burna Boy for years now and am so happy to have a tune with him.”

Sam Smith’s stirring voice and soulful depth has made him a pop phenom in the same camp as Adele and Amy Winehouse. Oscillating between upper and lower register, full voice and falsetto, Smith broke through with the appearance on Disclosure’s hit 2012 single, “Latch.” Two years later, he released a debut album, ‘In the Lonely Hour‘, which spawned another enormous single, “Stay With Me.” Smith continued to blur the lines between pop, soul, EDM, and R&B. Singles; ‘Too Good At Goodbye‘ and ‘I’m Not The Only One‘ which has over 1 Billion YouTube views has kept him on the world map as a big A-list world artiste.

Oasis is a place where you can find safety and sustenance. A peaceful area in our everyday lives. On “My Oasis,” Smith sings of helplessly needing someone, even though the return of this partner’s affections seems questionable Burna Boy also reflects on the same feelings in his verse.

Qoutable Lyrics

Keeping thinking that I’m seeing water
You’re playing tricks on me in the sun
See your shadow in the courtyard
Stays until the day is done

The desert don’t end
The rain don’t fall
And I can’t pretend I don’t want you all
Cos I want you all (you all, you all, you all)

Oh babe I really need you
My feelings getting deeperCLICK HERE FOR THE FULL LYRICS

In her words: ” This was me 9/10 years ago, I’m here because I believed there was much more to life than my suitation… I wanted to badly believe God DIDNT hate me, I wanted to badly stop the hurt but it just kept coming so strong. I knew I was ready, I mean the pain was Excruciating..

Today was a perfect day to die I said, ???? SMH.God spared me, God showed me how much love he had for me that day.. Shoutout to @teebillz323 @donjazzy for coming to my rescue, I honestly pray for you everyday. Thank you can never be enough but THANK YOU???

There is always light at the end of the tunnel, I can’t over emphasize how much Self love can save you.
It’s impossible to stop the bullies but you can stop the ripple effect of their bully WITH TRUE LOVE FOR ONES SELF..
Suicide has never been and will never be the answer, Don’t give any situation so much power over your life..
Life isn’t duplicated, mistakes can be corrected, Life can be better, that pain wouldn’t last forever.
Love yourself so much you get IMMUNE TO BULLIES…

Your mind is a battle field, you must continuously guard it.
Take charge of your life,Optimism is the key.
Learn to care less about others opinion about you, because that speaks more of who they are than of who you are!!
Learn to Know and walk who you are, Learn to speak Postivity into your Soul.
Depression is an illness and LOVE is the Medicine..
LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO SEEK HELP!!

Vibetone – “Oskambo”

Vibetone Oskambo

Vibetone Drops Hot New Single titled ‘OSKAMBO’…. Enjoy!

Every musician tries to season their music meal with the old school style. But only few musicians know how to prepare a good music meal the way VIBETONE does.

Adeniji, Samuel Adedolapo popularly known as VIBETONE, is a United States based singer, with 4 singles and has now graced our ears with the 5th single.

On his new single “Oskambo”, Vibetone talks about not wanting to be controlled, doing what he so pleases without anyone being able to dim his light or stop his success.

The Artiste puts us on the groove with his old school Afro beats style, which makes the song more soothing for all mood. It’s that song that can be played at the cool of the evening or can be added to late-night playlist. The lyrics to the song is motivational and portrays the fact that no one can stop you to do what you want to do and no one can stop you from achieving your goals.

Oskambo is a narrative of how a lot of things or situations can influence ones feeling or emotion. Oskambo could be that friend always showing up with a negative vibe, it could be that colleague that’s always draining ones energy. The message is simply; short out Oskambo and live your beautiful life.

Oskambo” is that ultimate song you should download and listen to right now…
