Olamide’s “Woske” was released on the 8^th of February, 2019 and garnered mixed reactions from music fans. The song which many people believed was an act of desperation from Olamide in other to score a hit song wasn’t really met with reactions that preached enthusiasm.

Although it didn’t deter it from getting a lot of streams as well as radio airplay, it quickly washed off in the faces and hearts of people like it never was released in the first place. However, there was a group that believed it was going to be a really huge jam as time wore on, but it quickly proved a heavily inaccurate proposition as almost everyone aside from unapologetically loyal Olamide fans.

The fact that Olamide believed the word Woske would metamorphose into pop culture was dealt a huge blow as it was not in any way welcomed the way he had hoped. When Woske was released, it was immediately followed up with a video which has done really bad considering that some videos that were released during the time of its own release have reached 10 million YouTube views while it only has just over 2.8 million views.

Patoranking  “HEAL THE WORLD” is a song that preaches the message of unity and love. Patoranking shot at our consciousness with happenings around the world and how love could possibly be the solution to the attainment of peace.

It highlights the prevalence of war and unrest in several parts of the world. Perhaps Patoranking took a cue from the late king of pop Micheal Jackson’s 1985 song We Are The World which was released off his 1991 album ‘Dangerous’. The two songs have the same theme and message and Patoranking tried to rewrite history. Peace for the entire world.

The song is self-explanatory and we can’t help but notice that the singer took a turn from his usual reggae dance hall style to deliver a globally conscious uplifting record that calls for global peace. Patoranking talked about the Boko Haram, Al-Qaeda and ISIS crises, people living fake lives, and fake clergymen. He urges everyone to spread love and heal the world.

The piano at the intro and the drumbeat, combined with the orchestra got me carried away I almost could not review this fantastic rendition. At a point, the lyrics got lost in the instrumentals and orchestra. One word! Phenomenal!

Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, formerly known as Kiss Daniel, now “Kizz Daniel” (May 2018), is a Nigerian recording artist, performer and entertainer best known for his chart-topping single “Woju” and his critically acclaimed song, Yeba. Kizz Daniel is signed to his own record label, Fly Boy Inc.

Born in Ogun state, Nigeria. He hails from Abeokuta North local government area. He graduated from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, in 2013, with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering). While in university, he decided to pursue music as a career alongside his studies.

In May 2015, Daniel released a third follow up single, “Laye,” on his birthday, along with a video two weeks later which was shot in different locations in the eastern part of Africa and was directed by AJE FILMS.

Kizz Daniel released his first studio album titled New Era on May 14, 2016, followed by the release of his second studio album titled “No Bad Songz” in November 2018 and a 3rd album “King Of Love” in June 2020.

Today November 19, 2021 he drops a mini body of work, An EP titled “Barnabas“. This is Kizz Daniel’s first ever EP, It consist of 7 tracks and features two guest artists; Highlife band- The Cavemen and Kelvyn Colt.

Talent Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML returns with another anthem titled, Playboy. The new song produced by Bizzouch (RICH BIZ) is a follow up to Fireboy’s mega hit, Peru. PERU released in July, 2021 became an instant anthem on the streets and Airplay. It was the perfect Nigerian viral record that affirmed an artist’s expertise as a freestyler and one of the most addictive records released in 2021. Everything about the song hit right, when it dropped which made everyone wanted to jump on it. Fireboy increased the audience and reach of PERU by releasing an official single featuring British singer, Ed Sheeran.

Blazing DJ Neptune teams up with Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner/fast rising music artiste-rapper, Laycon and melodious singer Joeboy for the Refix of his 2020 hit now re-titled “Nobody (Icon Remix)“.

Earlier this year in March Award winning international disc jockey and producer DJ Neptune teamed up with emPawa’s Mr Eazi and Joeboy for the single “NOBODY“. Featuring this triple threat of talent, the atmospheric record was produced by Neptune Records in-house producer Magic Sticks. Fated to be a contender for the biggest Nigerian hit of the year 2020 and definitely’s Neptune signature hit, Joeboy opens up the bop with melodious lines before processing into a repetitive but highly potent ear-worm hook which is further complimented by Eazi’s offering.

On this ‘Nobody Icon Remix‘, Laycon ‘Awa Fierce‘ crooner opened up the bop catchy track with his blazing Rap vibes which comes with easy to rap along lines, catchy rhymes and dope punchlines. African Popstar, Joeboy brought in new melodious line to make the hit track feel brand new and more addictive than the original.
