Nigerian sensational singer, Emma Chukwugoziam Obi popularly known as Emma Nyra has shared to fans how Davido supported her as an upcoming artiste.

Emma Nyra and Davido have been friends for years and they even have a track together “Elele” which was released in 2014. The singers recently linked up at one of Davido shows from his ongoing A Good Time tour and took a picture for the gram. The singer took to her Instagram page to reveal that the “Risky” singer was the first artiste to support her career.

She also added that the singer is the most hardworking and humble artiste she has ever met and that fans should hurry up to get tickets to his show before it gets sold out. Burna Boy Supposedly Becomes 1st Nigerian Artiste To Sell Out Shows In Lyon, Paris & Marseille

Grammy-nominated singer, Burna Boy is supposedly the first Nigerian artiste to sell-out shows in Paris, Lyon and Marseille.

A fan took to Twitter to reveal that the singer had sold-out shows in Paris twice with 1,600 capacity and also sold out a show in Lyon with a 1,600 capacity twice. However, the singer responded to the tweet correcting the fan on the exact numbers and times he had sold out the shows.

According to the Burna, the arena in Paris was a 3000-capacity one and he sold it out twice. He also added that the arena in Lyon was a 2500-capacity arena and that it was also sold out twice. The African Giant also said that his show at Marseille which took place on the 1st of March, 2020, was a 3500-capacity arena and was also sold out.

Davido Rips African American Woman Into Pieces For Insulting The Shape Of His Head

Nigerian singer, Davido has slammed a troll for insulting the shape of his head on social media.

Davido’s latest video “1Milli” had the internet talking yesterday after its release. The video which features his bride to be, Chioma in what looked like a traditional wedding ceremony was shot on the streets of Lagos and Nigerian fans have expressed their love for the video. The video even got more international recognition as an American Instagram blog, @theshaderoom, featured him.

While many people most especially Americans took to the comment section and hailed him for his musical prowess vowing to listen to the full video, a troll came for his physical appearance. The troll which happens to be a woman likened the shape of his head to that of an emoji and Davido being the father of legendary comebacks fired back calling her hair cheap.

“I Bought My Mom A Car At Age 17” – Rema Speaks On Family, Music & Love

Mavin singer, Rema has shared a never heard before story about his journey to fame.

In a recent interview with Capital Xtra, the “Dumebi” singer spoke about his family, music, love life and plans for the future, According to him, he was signed to Mavin 18 months before the signing was announced to the public. At that time, he had just lost his father and brother and was desperate to provide for his mother.  “At some point, things got hard and I had to man up…. I had to work hard because I lost my brother and my dad… I had to work hard.”  Rema also revealed that hard work got him in shape and that he never goes to the gym.

He also spoke about how he worked with Rvssian and Divy the producer to make his latest singles, “Beamer” and “Rainbow”. “He’s (Rvssian is) a great guy, I was confused because he had some many beats… We made two songs that day, but I made ‘Beamer’ last. I spent a lot of hours and even Rvssian left.

“I made ‘Why’ that day – shout-out to Divvy the producer. ‘Why’ is a song about heartbreak. It made me really sad that day, so I asked Divvy to give me something upbeat to get excited by. So, I started making something about fast cars, girls and cool kid-stuff. I liked it and D’Prince and I started bumping to it.”

The singer revealed that he doesn’t drink and smoke. He added that he hates posting on social media, taking selfies and that he would also like to get into fashion. To him, it’s easy to get addicted to likes and comments on social media.

Everyone knows that the issue of marriage is a sensitive topic especially to women in this part of the world. One of the African characteristics is the deep and universal conviction that marriage and children are blessings and lack of any of the two is considered a misfortune, or even a sign of a curse. Once a lady reaches a certain age, she is expected to marry and bear children and it gets worse when close friends and family members are all getting hooked up and it’s just her left.

Teni is one of the rare artistes that able to use her music to speak on certain topics that the society shies away from and is still able to make it a hit. Being a woman who has been constantly ridiculed for her size, dress sense and manner of speaking, Teni truly understands what millions of women are going through and decided to spread the love with a song.

In “Marry” , Teni talks about the pressure on women to marry by telling the story of a young lady that is seeking marriage from a man that she has been romantically involved with for 7 years. The lady is under pressure by her family to get married and she wants to know the direction in which their relationship is headed

Majority of music lovers might not entirely embrace this track because of its slow vibe – a sad one, like the entire story in the song ended in tears. Another feature that might make this record a walk pass for some is its inability to make fans dance and go bananas. But well we all know most Teni’s song are cool, mild and slow which still find its way into most people’s heart with time. She had proved this with ‘Fargin’, ‘Case’, ‘Power Rangers’ and ‘Billionaire’

However, we have to acknowledge the fact that this song is sending out a meaningful message and the positivity it preaches to the lives of people (Teni deserves lot of accolades for looking into this societal problem). Since its release, several female fans have thanked her for releasing such music and have testified that the track has helped with their struggles. It might be slow and sad but it’s a good record that carries a lot of weight. I’ll be giving this track a 7/10.
