X-Lyte – “Wanche”

After building anticipation, Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, X-Lyte, proudly presents his debut EP, My Last EP today, 29th of October, 2021. The six-track project places his rhythm, Melody, eloquent songwriting, and undeniable energy directly in the spotlight.

Owolabi Oluwasegun, mostly known as ‘X-Lyte’ is a Nigerian Singer, Songwriter, and Entrepreneur. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Babcock University.

X-Lyte, born 14th of April, 1996 to a music-loving Family; hails from Ekiti State, Nigeria. He was brought up in Ondo City, Akure but eventually moved to Lagos.

About his debut EP, X-Lyte commented;

“I usually love to be different, I experimented and created different sounds before settling for these 6 tracks. I want to be known for creating Good Music. What I hope to get in the music industry is the freedom to perform anywhere in the world without boundaries. Working on this EP has been incredibly therapeutic for me, as I was in the mode I never saw myself being.”

X-Lyte’s ‘My Last E.P includes songs like instant bangs like Wanche and Alarm, also includes previously released ‘Pipopay’. With the new EP, he wanted to tell a story about love, Money, Girls, and how one swings between hot and cold. “My Last EP” is out and available on all major music stores worldwide including Spotify, Apple Music & iTunes.

VIBETONE returns with ‘LOYAL’ single

After releasing his debut album, dynamic Afro pop singer, Vibetone has returned with a new single titled ‘LOYAL‘.

US-based Nigerian musician has grown to become a force to reckon with in the music industry with over 10 tracks and features to his name.

According to the amazing artiste who is also HUSTLE and PAMI crooner, the new single ‘LOYAL‘ comes out tomorrow, Friday 29th of October 2021.

“This is a track I have been working on for a while now and I couldn’t have chosen a better date to release it”. Y’all aren’t ready for what’s coming,” he said.

The energetic singer whose real name is Samuel Adeniji has reined his craft under Vibetribe, his label record, and released a handful of mixed tapes to prove his lyrical ability and ear for production. The name Vibetone is inspired by ‘Vibrato’, which means a rapid, slight variation in pitch or playing musical instruments.

Born in Nigeria, Vibetone found himself enraptured of the future budding from his homeland. He is an IT architect who started his music career in 2018 with no support and created remarkable music since, reaching feats of success.

In a short time, he has built a loyal fan-following with his high-energy vocals, raw style of rhythms yet well-placed wordplay. He has got the opportunity to collaborate with some renowned producers and musicians, including Oladips, Femi and, Oritshe.

Big Wiz is on the news again and this time, it is connected to his protege, Starboy Terri.

On Thursday, 28th of October, A Twitter user identified as YRN revealed that Wizkid only singed Terri because of the pressure from his colleagues- Davido, Olamide and Burna boy- who were doing same.

He asserts that Wizkid thought he had the star power to make Terri Boy big, but he failed woefully in achieving that.

As expected, his tweet stirred controversy in the Twitterverse. Many are of the opinion that Wizkid wasn’t influenced by his colleagues to sign Terri. “I’m So Proud Of You” – Burna Boy Lauds Sister, Nissi For Designing The New Range Rover

Grammy award-winning artiste, Burna Boy is on Instagram celebrating his talented younger sister, Nissi.

He is celebrating the genius for designing the latest, luxury car Range Rover. Nissi who is also an artist, fashion designer, activist,  was apparently working on the project for over 3 years.

According to a post on  Land Rover’s Twitter page, The New Range Rover is their ‘most desirable’ car ever c created. They described it as a wonderful feature of design and engineering.

Burna Boy also noted that he is more than proud of his sister as he used the opportunity to ask her for a discount code.

The next “Ogechukwu” which features The Cavemen brings Highlife into the Afro-fusion EP. “For Here” is Buju singing just to his lady/ Madam Juliet, and the last “I Do“, produced by Steph is a mild track which the singer use to state that he would achieve whatever he has his mind on and build a legacy.

Nigerian artiste, Mr Eazi has caught the October ‘Violence’ bug.

On Wednesday, the 27th of October, Mr Eazi hopped on Instagram to call out the American rapper, Jay Z for allegedly copying him. His accusation began after he shared a screenshot talking about Marcy Venture Partners, an organization confounded by Jay Z.

As seen in the post,  Jay Z  just closed its second fund with $325 million. Sharing the photo, Mr Eazi appealed to social media users to beg Jay Z to stop copying him.

His post has left people confused because they don’t know if he is referring to the idea or if he had the intentionn of venturing into Capitalism. The only thing we hope is that Jay Z doesn’t sue him,m for slander.

“It Was A Mistake” – Cross Defends Himself After Posting Nude Photos On Snapchat

Big Brother Naija finalist, Cross has reacted to the online bants about his not-so-decent photos.

It would be recalled that Cross sent the internet into a frenzy after he posted his nude photos on Snapchat. He captioned the photo ‘Shower time’. It would have been easier to convince netizens that it wasn’t intentional, but his caption made his situation worst.

Reacting to the commotion the photos caused, Cross said it was an honest mistake. In an interview with TVC,  he claimed that it wasn’t his intention to show off his ‘goods’ to the world.

According to him, he had no idea that Snapchat had changed some of its features and the photo wasn’t meant for the world, but for a special somebody.

On the 27th of October, the reality star mistakenly shared his nude photo on Snapchat. The photo went viral at lightning speed and got fans, especially the ladies talking. Cross captioned the photo ‘shower time’ as he showed off his tattoos and well, manh**d.

Social media users are certain that Cross intentionally posted the photo. Cross took down the photo, but it didn’t stop the ‘clout chasing’ comments that followed his post.

They commented that Cross is looking for ways to trend, after Maria, stole attention from them by allegedly snatching somebody’s husband.

Nigerian indigenous rapper and pop singer, Zlatan shares the Tracklist alongside title of his next album, with release date.

The Zanku crooner took to his social media pages to unveil his next project to his dear fans and the world. The forthcoming project which would be Zlatan‘s Second studio album, is titled ‘RESAN‘, and it will be coming with 12 tracks on the 5th of November, 2021.

In his words; ‘Resan The Album…12 songs, 35 minutes, maximum fun, absolute connection.

There were predictions that I won’t be here for long, but God and my fans have proven all naysayers wrong. For this, I’m joyous and grateful.

I’ve burnt the candle at both ends to ensure that our album is top notch. I worked my ass out to please my fans and not let y’all down. It’s been hard but it’s been worth it.

Huge thank you to everyone that worked with me on this album…my team, the featured artists, the producers, sound engineers etc. You guys made it easier for me.

My people, RESAN drops on 5th November. I present to you the track list. Y’all should anticipate nothing but good music.
