There were whispers in December that Tems was allegedly pregnant for Big Wiz. According to the blogger who shared the gist on IG, Wizkid’s and his Babymama/manager were trying to keep it hush-hush.

However, social media users started believing the rumours when Tems went off social media for 1 month and 2 weeks. Some even commented that it might be true and Tems has gone to get rid of the baby.

Early this morning, during a Q&A session on Jada’s Twitter account, A fan asked her if she found the rumours about Tems and Wizkid annoying.

Jada admitted that she found the rumours annoying. She revealed that Tems is the best female artist to come out of this continent and she dislikes the negative publicity attached to her name.

According to her, Tems’ artistry is unmatched, but haters are always trying to bring her down with false narrative, perception and of course, pregnancy rumours.

Jada Pollock warned Nigerians to stop spreading rumours that Tems is pregnant for her baby daddy and allow Tems to celebrate Essence’s achievements in peace.

On June 21st, David Jones David was born into a Christian household.

His mother, Aret Cyril, was a lawyer and property consultant.
He also studied subjects like social studies and English at the Federal College of Education in Zaria. David Jones David’s partner is a woman named Enose Oriarewoh, who is a beautician. 

David Jones David began his anti-drug campaign in October 2017 after his first song, “Onye ara,” received a lot of attention on the social media platform Instagram. He specialises in composing or doing voice-overs based on the beat of any song., he did his debut narration for a soundtrack from the popular animated film Lion King. 

David Jones David worked as a sound engineer and music composer at a firm called Rockhouse Media Limited from 2006 to 2007.

Later in 2008, he started working as a Studio Manager at a firm called Angels Media. He quit this job in 2009 and started his own media company. He presently heads David House Limited, a media company he founded in 2009.

David, who has never used drugs, explained that he began his anti-drug campaign in response to the rising issues of drug abuse among the youth of Nigeria.

In 2018, he published “Even Though,” a smash hit the pop track with Onuegbu Nwakaego Lillian that went viral and campaigned against drug consumption.

David Jones David appeared at the comedy event Pencil Unbroken in 2019. In 2020, he released a track called “Check on Someone,” which featured popular faces such as Kenny Black and Emma Oh Ma God.

M.I ‘s request wouldn’t have angered Netizens if it weren’t for the things Tariq said about African immigrants on #Securethetribe.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, Tariq, Mel and others created a live space to talk about “How Immigration Benefit Black Americans”  #securethetribe.

Tariq rudely said it never benefitted them because Africans especially Nigerians come to the US to steal their jobs, oppress them and accuse the white of racism. According to him, the only way his people can enjoy is if Africans go back to their various countries and hustle there.

Following his xenophobia speech, Nigerians, Ghanaians called in and blasted him for accusing them of stealing their jobs.  They reminded him of how expensive it is to study abroad and how most Africans also do minimal jobs just to feed.

Celebrities like Blaqbonez, Pere, Naya Beverly called took to Twitter account to slam Tariq for his speech. Whilst others were defending Nigerians home and abroad, M.I called and begged Tariq to follow him on Twitter. Completely ignoring the Immigration stuff, he told Tariq he has always admired his works and he would love a follow back

Nigerians wasted no time dragging M.I. They admitted that Vector was 100% right when he called M.I “Judas, the rat”.

(Na Wa o) Mistikay is a blessed Afrobeat Versatile Music magician, Simple & humble with Mic. An Afrobeat Music artiste and songwriter.

Kayode Afolabi Ajayi popularly known with his stage name “Mistikay” kickstarts his musical journey in 2022 with this impressive new single titled ‘Na wa o’. A sweet fusion of traditional Amapaino and modern afrobeats that reminds you of the greats.

Mistikay started his music career back in 2009 while in Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state. The Nigeria born singer and song writer was at the time working on his National diploma.

The afro pop sensation enjoyed fame during his schools days as one of the biggest names in entertainment in and around the campus.

The singer and song writer however took a break from music career back in 2016 for financial reasons and it has taken the afro pop sensation seven long years to rise again with a brand new afro dance hall, NA WA O.

Asked about his plans for the future, He had this to say. “My plan is to put out music that brings joy to people all around the world and my goal is to become a household name come to the end of the year”

FAVE drops her highly anticipated debut EP titled “RIDDIM 5″… A Must Listen For All!

After ending 2021 with the hit track ‘Baby Riddim‘, FAVE starts 2022 with the release of her impressive Riddim 5 EP.

While her bedroom freestyles and early singles—including 2019’s “M.O.M.M.S” and 2021’s “Beautifully”—explored her poetic, romantic side, Nigerian singer-songwriter Fave (born GodsFavour Chidozie) embraces the feel-good vibe on her debut EP, Riddim 5. Produced by Krisbeatz, NiphKeys, Phyl, Saszy Afroshii & Damie.

About this EP FAVE tells Apple Music; “All the songs gave me a ‘riddim’ vibe—something sweet that has a very nice groove.. It’s what I call a sound that’s absolutely bonkers—nothing you’ve heard before, and it lasts a lifetime.” Following her laidback appearances on Olamide’s 2021 album UY Scuti, Riddim 5 reveals Fave’s different facets, fusing Afropop elements with Caribbean influences and hints of R&B and hip-hop—but without a strict allegiance to one particular mode.

Below is a breakdown of the new tracks on Fave’s Riddim 5 EP.

“Obsessed”

“‘Obsessed’ was banging from the beginning of the beat, when [producer Krizbeatz] played it for me. I was like, ‘Whether or not I’m getting an inspiration, I just know I have to sing on this beat,’ because it banged so much. Krizbeatz said he felt like it gave him an ‘overthinking’ kind of feeling, about someone or something. So I had to inject that into my writing and I just felt, ‘Okay, overthinking—this is a direction that I can go.’ It’s like I’m obsessed. And I confessed, ‘I’ve been thinking about you/It keeps ringing on/Ringing on in my head/And I can’t stop thinking about you.’”

“S.M.K”

“‘S.M.K’ is a song that talks about you beckoning someone to sing for you. I’m not very fluent in Yoruba, because I’m not a Yoruba girl; I’m Igbo. But I love the Yoruba language so much. When I’m writing music, I find myself singing a lot of blurbs, and they turn out to be the Yoruba language. I ask [those around me] to help me build on that, to help me develop, to help me make sense of what my mind is telling me to say. It actually just came into my head—I didn’t know what it meant, but I had to ask the producer [Niphkeys] if ‘Sho Ma Korin’ had any meaning. That’s literally how it came to me. We basically just created a song around me telling someone to sing, ‘Do I need to move mountains to show you how much I feel for you? Do you need to see some writing on the wall?’”

“Kilotufe”

“‘Kilotufe’ is ‘What do you want?’ ‘Kilotufe’ was recorded in 2020; it was very laidback. We always had in mind that it’s a project kind of song, because it’s not something that I really write about—I’m mostly on a love type of wave, or talking about how I have feelings for somebody, or how someone has feelings for me. ‘Kilotufe’ is basically talking about you being ignored or you not being wanted by some people. And then all of a sudden, because things are suddenly happening for you, they start ringing your line; they start acting like you actually mean something. So it’s like, I’m now thinking, ‘What do I know, really?’ Or really, ‘Whatever it is that I’m going to give you now, whatever it is you’re getting from me, is what you get. You can’t ask so much from me, because you were never really there when things were bad.’”

“Mr Man”

“I recorded this with Saszy Afroshii. ‘Mr Man’ was a kind of slow song, initially. Even the video I did for the song on my Instagram, it was slow tempo. But we thought we could actually increase the tempo of this song to give it a more groovy vibe. What ‘Mr Man’ talks about is love. It’s telling someone, ‘I want you to take me on the dance floor; let’s dance, let’s vibe. How would you want me to prove my love for you? If you say that you’re going to shiver when we walk down the aisle, I would definitely be there to hold you; there’s nothing to fear.’”
