Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known Wizkid caused a stir at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London.

The Starboy crooner is set to hold his More Love, Less Ego concert at the 80,000 capacity stadium on the 29th of June 2023.

Video making the rounds online captured him walking on to the pitch from the dressing room area as everyone stopped what they were doing to focus on him.

Photojournalists and other officials who were on the pitch watched in awe as the Afrobeats sensation strutted the field majestically.

Another clip showed the moment Wizkid showed off his fun side while showing off his outfit.

Wizkid was also seen juggling a ball like a professional to the admiration of those present on the pitch.

Late Dagrins Mother Opens Up Cries Out for Financial Help (Video)

13 years after the death of an indigenous rapper, Dagrin, his mother, in a plea to Nigerians, expressed her desperate situation and sought for financial help.

It would be recalled that Dagrin died after being in a coma for 8 days following his involvement in a car accident.

In a trending video, Dagrin’s mother opened up on how she sells food by the roadside, despite her old age factor, and the income she generates is inadequate to support her family.

In an effort to provide for herself, she mentioned avoiding specific areas to avoid being recognized by certain individuals.

Suggestions were made for her to reach out to famous Afrobeats artists such as Davido or Olamide for help, but she hesitated, stating that she sees them as her own children, making it hard to beg them for financial help.

Dagrin’s mother expressed her sorrow over her poor state and appealed for a suitable place for her family to live. She implored Nigerians to contribute between N3 million to N5 million to help her start a business.

“Please I am poor and I want Nigerians to come and help me, I currently sell food by the roadside but the stress is too much and I am getting really old, I need accommodation, please Nigerians I need like N3Million- N5Million, I can’t go and beg Rapper Olamide for money because it is somehow as he is not an Elder, I look at him like a son”, she said in part.

Ghanaian rap star, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has thrown heavy shade at actress, Yvonne Nelson over her recent explosive revelation.

Tooxclusive reported earlier that she claimed the Hip Hop artiste impregnated her in 2010 but refused to take responsibility.

She claimed that they were in a relationship which did not last long and after he denied the baby, she had to get an abortion.

The actress opened up about the experience in her newly released memoir, and revealed how she informed Sarkodie that she was carrying his child.

Sarkodie who had remained mute when the story made headlines, finally took to his Instagram story to react.

Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola also known as Portable has bragged about being greater than late American pop star, Michael Jackson.

The ‘Zazuu Zeh’ star stated in a viral video that the Billie Jean hitmaker’s “glory” is not as big as his own.

Portable made the declaration when a big crowd surrounded his car and refused to allow him drive through.

The mob were hitting his vehicle and stretching out their hand to indicate that they expected something from him.

The popular singer threw some cash into the crowd to get them to ease up on hitting his car and they struggled to pick as much as possible.

“Michael Jackson glory no reach my own,” Portable said while swerving his car in a bid to break free from the mob.

The billionaire said this on Wednesday, June 21 while delivering his opening address at an event in Lagos State.

Gates revealed how his 20-year-old child expressed gladness when she learnt that he was visiting Nigeria and the possibility of meeting the musicians, Burna Boy and Rema.

He said she told him that he was lucky because he will get a chance the two global singers.

The American business mogul also recalled watching Wizkid and Burna perform during his last visit to Nigeria.

He further noted that Nigeria is filled with creative minds and Afrobeats from Nigeria are popular everywhere.

“Of course, being here in Nigeria, I can’t help but mention the amazing creativity that goes on here. Afrobeats from Nigeria are popular everywhere.

When my daughter Phoebe heard I was coming to Nigeria, she said, ‘You’re lucky because you get to see Burna Boy and Rema, so I had to look them up…because I’m so hip,” Gates said.

He added; “But I also remember, the last time I was here, I did get to see Davido and Wizkid perform and I was quite impressed with that. So, my kids think I’ve come to a very hip place”.

Charly Boy to Sue Record Company for Contract Breach

Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, a veteran entertainer, has threatened to sue Premier Records Limited for alleged breach of terms of agreement in musical contracts signed about 35 years ago.

This was revealed by the ‘Our Mumu Don Do’ activist in a letter written to the record label by his lawyer, Mr Rockson Igelige.

The lawyer stated in the letter dated June 19, 2023 that Charly Boy had signed Artists Recording Contracts with the company in 1988, 1990, and most recently.

He claimed, however, that even though the contracts had expired, Premier Records was still infringing on his client’s copyrights to the musical works.

“On our client’s instructions, we demand that your company handover our client’s master tapes, artworks, promo collateral for the music and other relevant and confidential information with your company within 30 days of the date of this letter.

“We also demand your company’s payment of our client’s outstanding royalties,” the letter read in parts.

According to Igelige, the albums affected included, the one recorded in 1990 containing songs such as Big Bottom, Aids, Sexy Lady, Mama, and Nwata Miss.

He also listed an album titled “U-Turn” with songs including Akula, Sheri, Comfort, Civilian Barrack, Akula (Instrumental).

Also in the list is an album titled “Reality” which contains songs such as Monkey, Family Support, No.6 Man, Give Mv Life, Lagos Life and Baby Come Back.

He contended that the terms of the contracts entered with the company as Polydor Record in 1988, Polygram Records Limited in 1990, and currently Premier Records Limited had ended by expiration of time.

“In this wise, we have our client’s instructions to formally inform your company to stop further breach of our client’s copyrights to the musical works under the musical albums and single(s) produced during the aforesaid expired contract period.

“This is as a result of the fact that the condition precedent as well as the consideration for the contracts were not met and furnished.

“This serves as a legal notice that further breach after the receipt of this letter will attract legal action.“We hope and trust that your company will comply with our client’s modest demands,” he said.

Tooxclusive recalls that a Twitter user @Winco_3 while sharing a six seconds video of a music performance, had taunted that Davido’s burial can’t be crowded like the clip of the event he shared.

While quoting the tweet, Davido queried him for wishing him dead.

Reacting, Paulo said the troll must be found and handed over to law enforcement agencies for questioning.

Paulo also promised to give N5 million to anyone with valuable information that would lead to the arrest of the troll.

So unwise Burna Boy Slammed for Cancelling Show after Stadium Full of Fans

Grammy award-winning Nigerian artiste, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has come under heavy criticisms on social media for cancelling his headline show scheduled for Saturday night at the GelreDome, Arnhem, Netherlands, after fans already filled the stadium.

Fans reportedly filled the 41,000-capacity-seater waiting for hours for the ‘Last Last’ crooner to thrill them before they received the rude news of the late cancellation of the show.

Burna Boy took to his Instastory midnight to announce that the show won’t be holding despite fans already filling the venue.

The music star said he was anticipating performing for his Dutch fans but unfortunately, it couldn’t happen due to “a number of reasons.”

He said his “amazing team has been hard at work trying to salvage it but we couldn’t do it in time.”

He promised to announce a new date soon.
