TX News had earlier reported that the Federal Ministry of Health made a public statement about the threat to public health, posed by the content of Olamide’s Wo! However, another government agency has taken stricter measures by banning the widely played song alongside other songs including the YBNL boss’ Wavy Level, Davido’s songs; If Remix and Fall, and the controversy generating Living Things song by 9ice.
The National Broadcasting Corporation which is vested with the responsibility of regulating and controlling the country’s broadcast industry reportedly banned theses songs on the basis of inappropriate content and declared them unworthy to be broadcast.
