In a recent interview with Pulse NG, Falz spoke on the Nigerian Hiphop culture which was recently brought under public scrutiny by M.I’s Fix up your life song. Falz was of the opinion that rather than forcing the hardcore rap style on Nigerian MCs, rappers should be allowed to explore different styles and infuse African music elements to their music, since Hiphop itself is an imported music culture.
