Don Jazzy Blasts Men Who Disrespect Their Wives Because Of Bride Price

Ace music producer, Don Jazzy has slammed men who mistreat their wives as a result of what was spent performing the marriage rites.

Don Jazzy took to the popular microblogging site, Twitter to lament over the way some men disrespect and treat their wives. He attributed this ugly behavior to the traditions that mandate a man to pay a woman’s bride price and in so places, a higher bride price.

Don Jazzy didn’t conceal his disgust concerning the ugly situation. He asked fellow Nigerians what could be done in educating and eradicating the shallow mindset of such men, that paying a high dowry does not warrant disrespect to their wives.

“So apparently some of the men that disrespect and treat their wives like shit do so becos they paid some useless bride price. Kai how do we educate the multitude with this shallow mindset?”
