Music Megastar, Wizkid has received praises from one of the most popular streaming sites, YouTube as his 2019 hit song skyrocketed to 113 million views on the platform.
The hit Jam, Joro was released in 2019 alongside another song, titled Ghetto. Unfortunately for Ghetto, it didn’t stand a chance next to Joro. With Joro’s intoxicating beats and unforgettable lyrics, Joro has been the most streamed song on Youtube, Spotify, and Boomplay. Special thanks to the aggressive promotion the song received, it has bagged 113 views on Youtube.
Celebrating his achievement, Youtube acknowledged the fact that Starboy’s videos had organic views. Replying to a Twitter user’s post about Joro’s views, YouTube said ” So, sick, what an achievement”
According to a member of Wizkid’s FC he claims Wizkid is the only Nigerian artist who had organic views on youtube. He threw indirect shades at Davido whom he accused of buying fake views. The Twitter user who has been identified as Anthony Not Joshua advised upcoming artists not to follow in the footsteps of artists who buys Youtube views.
buying of views on Youtube wouldn’t take you anywhere.. Message to upcoming artist don’t let anyone push you, stick to ORGANIC views.
