Nigerian singer, Wikzid has made Nigerian proud once again.
The 30-year-old has bagged not one, but two Grammy nominations at the 64th nomination ceremony. He broke the record held by Nigerian’s first afrobeat grammy winner, Burna boy who was only nominated for under one category in the last two years.
Wizkid’s Made in Lagos Deluxe edition got nominated for the “Best Global Music Album” alongside Rrocky Dawuni, Angelique Kidjo, Femiakuti and Made Kuti’s albums.
His song with Tems, Essence got nominated for “Best Global Music Performance”. Recall that the “Best Global Music Performance is the same category Burna Boy won last year.
