Over a month after the Astroworld festival, Dior drops their collaboration with Travis Scott.
Travis Scott is still feeling the heat, following the Astroworld Festival tragedy that killed 10 people.
According to a new report by @RollingStone, the entertainer’s upcoming capsule collection between Dior and the rapper’s Cactus Jack label has been postponed indefinitely.
Dior explained that it’s no longer moving forward with the collaboration that was scheduled to drop next year “out of respect” for the victims.
The company said in a statement; Out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld, Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection.
This postponement of the Dior/Cactus Jack collaboration is the 2nd major branding deal Travis Scott has lost since the tragedy.
