R.Kelly has finally turned himself in to Chicago police. US new platform, Sun Times, just got footage of the “I Wish” crooner surrendering to police Friday night at the Chicago Police Department in downtown Chicago.
This comes just hours after R.Kelly was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, 9 of which are with underage girls. There are 4 alleged victims in total, and one of them is the subject of 4 different counts. If convicted, R. Kelly could be facing some serious prison sentence. Each of his charges are a class 2 felony, caring 3-7 years per charge (and he’s got 10).
Kellz reportedly left his West Side studio around 7:45 p.m. Friday night, surrounded by about a dozen members of his entourage and security guards. It was unclear where he was going, but followed by several news crews, they worked their way to the police station where he turned himself in.
