Jaywon has called out the organisers of Headies 2019 awards after none of his songs made it to any of the nominees category.
The singer who currently is on a promotion streak for his latest single; “Aje” remix featuring Lyta and Barry Jhay, took to his Instagram page yesterday just after the nominees list rolled out to vent his frustration at why any of his 2018 single; “Aje” or “Saro” wasn’t shortlisted. He went further to call the nominees list “shit” as he revealed this wouldn’t be the first time he would be ignored by Headies organisers after a great calendar-year showing. He however made music fans understand that he would move on as his success isn’t dependent on award.
He wrote; “The nomination is shit but no be today dem don Dey do us like that!! No be award carry me reach where I Dey today. Na hardwork, God and my true fans . Make we leave am for here!!”
