8 Songs You Should Listen To This week

In this week’s episode, … Wizkid, Oxlade, Omah Lay, Dice Ailes, Dremo, and others made the list.

As usual, in a bid to keep our fans and readers entertained, we selected banging songs we feel you need to listen to this week.

Oxlade “Hold On”

“Hold On”, is the second track lifted off his critically acclaimed EP, ‘Oxygene’.  It’s a cute song for love birds as Oxlade sings about losing control over his lady. He is love drunk and can’t seem to get enough of her loving. If you love “Away” which is on the same EP, you’ll definitely get addicted to this tune.

Omah Lay -“Bad Influence”

It’s no surprise this track is on the list again because fans can’t seem enough of it. This addictive record which was written and produced Omah Lay himself is basically about a love story that ended in tears. Omah curses his lover for being a bad influence on him and also for leaving him high and dry. This is one experience most people can relate to which makes it more exciting to listen to. The touching tune is still one of the most streamed songs at the moment.

Dremo Ft Davido “Mabel”

Produced by the highly talented Milakeyzz, the track is off Dremo’s “Codename, Vol. 2” which was released last month. The track sees Davido and Dremo singing about a love interest called Mabel. They’re both infatuated with her and would go through extreme lengths to prove their love. All in all, it’s a fun track that’s going to make you get up and dance.

Rudeboy – “Woman”
Produced by Chrisstringz “Woman” is a follow up to his 2020 debut “Take It”. which is still accumulating thousands of streams. Rudeboy takes us back to reality just like his 2019 smash hit “Reason With Me” but this one is for folks that want a ready made perfect woman. The message of this track is clear, no woman is perfect, you just have to build one up to your taste.

Wande Coal – “Again”
So this track takes us back to the days of “Ololufe,”  “Private Tips,” “Super Woman,” and “So Mi So“. The track is the singer’s first single of the year and it was produced by Melvitto. On this mid-tempo Afropop tune, Wande showcases his irresistible loving side to bless the season and month of love. Another exciting jam for the lover dem boys and gals.

Yung L x Wizkid – “Eve Bounce” (Remix)

This track is a delicious blend of Afrobeat, Afro-dancehall, and Reggae. It makes us wonder why we haven’t clamored for a Yung L and Wizkid collaboration before. Starboy Wizkid as usual puts in the magic touch with sweet sweet lyrics we are accustomed to getting from him which gave the track a different and exciting vibe. Its a certified summer bop.

DJ Big N x Teni x Don Jazzy – “Ife” (Love)

DJ Big N started the year with “Ife”, which features the one-take god, Teni, and ace music producer and Mavin boss, Don Jazzy. “Ife” is the ultimate love song that not only showcases love’s maturity, but also the definition of genuine love. Its a culmination of love adventures where Teni and Don Jazzy poured their hearts into this song and expressed how love truly makes them feel. The is track is definitely set to imprint itself in your hearts as the ultimate love song.

Dice Ailes – “Pim Pim” ft. Olamide

Dice Ailes the Waterman as he fondly called might not be consistent in releasing music but anytime he does, its a certified banger. In this infectious track produced by Cracker, Dice recruited Olamide Baddo who delivered banging lines like he always does. The afrobeat/Afropop jam has continued to burst speakers and all its takes it takes is just one listen to dor you to fall in love with the song.
