On Today’s Take Us Back Tuesday, We’ll be taking y’all down memory lane of Starboy’s (WIZKID) great moments.

Born Ayo Balogun, Wizkid is a Nigerian artist who has won many awards, gained recognitions and nominations from prestigious avenues like The Headies, BET, MTV, NACCP, Grammy, MOBO, World Music Awards, Billboard and many others. In 2016, Wizkid achieved international recognition following his collaboration with Canadian rapper, Drake on the global hit, ‘One Dance’, which reached number one in 15 countries, including the U.S, UK, Canada, and Australia. The song also made him break a record by becoming the First Afrobeats artiste to appear in the 2018 Guinness World Records.

Wizkid also made history by being the first African artiste to sell out the O2 Arena in London… twice. The Nigerian singer also became the first African artiste to headline a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall.
