*You’ll need:*
A large pot
A strainer
Another pot or container for your tea.

*Adriene’s recipe for two quarts:*
15 whole cloves
20 black peppercorns
3 sticks of cinnamon
20 whole cardamon pods (split pods first)
8 ginger slices (no need to peel)
1/2 teaspoon of black tea, or one small bag
2 quarts water

I Worked Four Jobs To Make Money – Jidenna

Nigerian born American singer, Jidenna, needs little or no introduction in and out of the entertainment scene.

The Classic man, as he is fondly called, revealed in a new interview that he had to work four jobs to make money and on focus on his music.

Jidenna who studied engineering at Stanford University, California, US said halfway through his degree programme,  he realised music and entertainment were his calling – so once school was over, he chose to teach.

“I studied a programme that had science technology and a little bit of music – It was basically electrical engineering: how to build all these stuff in the studio,” said Jidenna while speaking on a Beat FM show.

“After school, I decided to teach, mainly to make a little income and have enough time to work on music.

“I had to work four jobs and work on my music every day,” he said.

“I used to very shy but because I was in front of children every day, I had to put on a show. So I became a performer by virtue of teaching so it was a blessing in disguise,” he said.

“I worked in some of the worst schools in New York city. I worked in transfer schools. You get transferred there because you were suspended from another school. If you don’t make it there, it’s either you were in jail or end up pregnant.”

On his dreams;

“My hand is going to be in every industry. I have a vision for the entire continent. I want to create the bridge,” he added.

Tekno Is Mine, No International Brand Can Steal Him – Ubi Franklin

Following the unveiling of Tekno, as the latest ambassador for Pepsi, Triple MG boss, Ubi Franklin, as made his thoughts known about it.

Speaking with Sunday Scoop,  Ubi said:

“I read the contract properly. It took me about seven weeks to go through the contract with my lawyers; internationally and locally. I had to expunge some things and also include some clauses. There is nothing to worry about. In music business, there are times when you would never be happy and there are times when you would be happy so you have to mix and manage both. Tekno’s rise is simply as a result of hard work, prayers and perseverance. Some people pray and they don’t work hard but if you pray and work hard, it will happen for you.”

On his relationship with Iyanya:

“I didn’t split from Iyanya. Maybe you should ask him what happened between us. Once a contract is over, you can go if you want to nobody will prevent you from doing so. There is no bad blood between Iyanya and I; he is my brother for life.”

The record label boss also hinted that he has plans to diversify into the movie industry.

“I am actually doing a lot of TV and movie productions right now. They wouldn’t necessarily feature my wife though; it depends on who fits the role. Meanwhile, I just signed three new artistes and I would be unveiling them soon,” he said.

Ubi, who has been in the news for a while now, was dumped by his wife of barely one year following rumors of domestic violence and infidelity.
