U.S Court Postpones Hush Puppi’s Sentence Till 11th Of July

The sentencing of Nigerian Socialite, Ramon Abbas, widely known as Hushpuppi has been postponed till the 11th of July, 2022 by a United States District Court for the Central District of California.

The order which was granted by Justice Otis D. Wright was issued after Hushpuppi’s lawyers led by Louis Shapiro entered a request for postponement. Hush Puppi is expected to remain in custody in the intervening period of the delay.

Hushpuppi was previously scheduled to be sentenced on the 14th of February for duping people across different continents to the tune of millions of dollars. He pleaded guilty last year to the charges, seeking a lighter sentence.

Hushuppi risks getting a 20 years jail sentence; a 3-year period of supervised release; a fine of #236.5 Million or twice the gross gain or gross loss resulting from the offense.

Whitemoney finally breaks the silence on why his used to be love interest, Queen blocked him on all social media platforms.

The winner of Big Brother Naija season 6, Hazel Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has revealed why Queen Mercy Atang decided it was best to keep him off her social media.

He shared this during an interview with Tv host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin’ Minds, Whitemoney claimed that their feud was caused by a misunderstanding with the fellow reality star which resulted in him being blocked on all social media platforms.

As recounted by Whitemoney, he used a blank image on his WhatsApp profile picture while on an airplane, which was misinterpreted by Queen, who thought Whitemoney had blocked her.

I have not seen Queen for a long time because she blocked me. I think it was a mistake and she didn’t know. That day, I was about to board a flight and she dropped a message. That particular line, I took off my profile picture…you know when you block someone, you won’t see their profile picture.

We spoke a day before the incident. I think she had issue with someone from my fanbase…they were exchanging words. So, it appears she was trying to reach out to me to call that person to order. While she was doing that, I couldn’t pick because I was already airborne. Immediately I boarded the plane, I took off my profile picture, then her message dropped but it only ticked once.

So, she thought I blocked her and also blocked me everywhere. Na phone she block, no be destiny, it’s funny to me, she has my second line but didn’t bother to call. We’ve not spoken since then but I believe we’ll resolve it, he recounted.

You will recall that Whitemoney and Queen were one of the closest duo during the Big Brother Naija reality Tv show. They got along quite well and were helpmates in the kitchen. Although Queen never hit the fact that she felt something special for Whitemoney, he shared that he was willing to take his time.

Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has shared his wish for his son to have a lady who would kneel down to accept his marriage proposal.

This comes after a video of a lady who did the same went viral on social media. It is no longer news that the proposal style the society recognizes is that which mandates the man to go down on one knee while asking the woman for her hand in marriage.

However, the said lady thrilled lots of social media users after the reverse became the case.

In reaction to this, the “living in bondage” star said that he will definitely be praying for this type of woman for his wife.

This is quite interesting. I will certainly pray for this kind of a Lady for my Son. It accords with our culture and way of life. Ideally, I would prefer none kneels for each other but it’s quite closer to our culture if it’s done in this fashion.
