Rotimo – Shockolate

ROTIMO Releases New Single Shockolate With Music Video… Enjoy!!!

On the 1st of March 2022, Rotimo is set to unwrap his new song and accompanying video SHOCKOLATE. The song was penned by Rotimo and produced by Ajay on The Beatz whilst the video was directed by the renowned late Luke Biggins of Yellowfish Group. It is a fun filled song which playfully and creatively showcase a new way to say how someone you love ‘turns you on’. It will be available on Spotify, Apple Music and all digital platforms.

The release will also mark the launch of Rotimo’s very own brand of chocolate bars called ‘Shockolate’. The chocolate bars will be available in the UK via their own online store which will launch after the release. Following a successful release in the UK, they will then be available in other parts of the world. The music video which will be released simultaneously with the audio gives a glimpse of the brand and will serve to wet the taste buds of viewers.

Rotimo is set to make a return to the live music scene with live dates to be announced following on from this new release. A compelling live performer, he has performed alongside the likes of other great Afrobeats artists such as Davido, Runtown, Afro B, and many more. Stages he’s graced include The Loverbox Festival, The O2 Islington, the Jazz Cafe and others.

Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria and living in the UK for more than half of his life, Rotimo has been influenced by a diverse array of sounds which have given his sound an eclectic mix of musicality. Big Announcement; Headies Unveil New Award Categories and 2022 Bentley For Their 15th Next Rated Winner

Another Headies Award, Another Drama Loading, But this time, it will be an international drama..

On the 1st of March, the organisers of the award show took to their official Instagram to announce the Big changes ahead of the 15th Headies Award Show.

This year’s edition will hold in Altanata, U.S at the prestigious Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022. Another big change is the fact that the winner of the ‘Next Rated’ will be going home with a 2022 Bentley.

The organisers revealed that their decision to change the venue and car is to make artists proud of their achievements, and also to make it difficult for managers of Next Rated winners to take control of the gifted cars.

As at the time of this report, the artists being considered for 2021 Next Rated award are; Ayra Starr, BNXN (BUJU), Ruger and Zinoleesky.

Also The 15th Headies has introduced new categories which are;

– Music Executive of the Year
– Best Afrobeat Pop Single (Nigeria)
– Best Afrobeat Pop Album (Nigeria)
– Best African Collaboration
– Best International Collaboration
– African Artiste of the Year

TMP Offisial delivers the piano version for, “Move Your Body”

Consistent effort births perfection, and that is one thing, TMP Offisial has continued to prove with the moves he has been making so far. It can be argued that the more your audience sees you, the more you can appear in their faces, all over their screens and on their radios, the more fond of you they become.

‘Move Your Body’ is his latest track and the song has done incredibly well if we have to talk about numbers and coverage among other things. So far, there have been social media reports of random users saying the song was just randomly played in their barber’s shop, house parties, or on cases where the song was played on MTV Base.

The Afro-fusion artist has taken the song up a notch showing his creativity yet again with a release of the piano version of ‘Move Your Body.’

Firstly, it is worthy of note that ‘Move Your Body is a party song, so being able to tone it down to the tempo of the piano version requires a level of creativity not many in the music industry possess. TMP is a gem and was able to prove it yet again with this version.

Grammy award-winning artist, Burna Boy was recently involved in a car accident that left him slightly hurt.

The Ye singer took to his Instagram story to confirm reports that he crashed his Ferrari after ramming into a car in Lekki.
