Davido, Tiwa Savage, Others Win Big At AFRIMA 2018 || See Full List Of Winners
Davido was crowned the ‘Artist of the year’ at the AFRIMA 2018 which was held last night in Accra, Ghana.
The renowned award was held at the Accra International Conference Centre which was attended by a number of African superstars.
Davido, Wizkid, Simi, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Burna Boy and other Nigerian superstars along with some African music experts got nominated in various categories of the awards. The likes of Nasty C, Diamond Plantnumz, Shekinnah were nominated in multiple categories.
However, Davido emerged the biggest winner of the night as he bagged the ‘Artist of the Year’ overcoming stiff competition from the likes of Tiwa Savage, Diamond and other African superstars.
Other Nigerian winners on the night are 2baba, Mr P, Falz, Tiwa Savage, Praiz, and DMW producer; Fresh VDM.

Nicki Minaj In “Hot Water” For Showing Support For Tekashi 6ix9ine
If 6ix9ine’s damaging personality is to be considered, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if his supporters are getting trolled.
Nicki Minaj now seems to be the one in hot water after declaring her support for Tekashi 6ix9ine amidst his legal battle with Feds. Before declaring her support in a post, she confirmed that Tekashi’s project which was billed for release on the 23rd of November, 2018 has been pushed back.
In her words she said; “For reasons beyond music, the record company will hold off on putting his project out for now. Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your mother, daughter & her mom during this time.”
Social media users hasvesince expressed their disappointment at Nicki for her display of loyalty to 6ix9ine. Many do not understand why one would declare support for a criminally inclined person like Tekashi and this has caused many through their social media pages to blast the “Queen.”

Prison Inmates Angry As 6ix9ine Gets “Special Treatment.”
Reports by TMZ have suggested that prison inmates might already irritated as to the special treatment Tekashi 6ix9ine is getting in prison.
We brought you news last week that Tekashi was arrested by the police and has been put in prison. It now seem 6ix9ine is not only having problems with the feds alone but now also with the inmates he has now met in prison.
Following Tekashi’s transfer to the new prison facility he currently is, prison officials on his arrival, cleared an entire dormitory of “gang affiliated” prisoners, eleven “Docile” prisoners were then put in the dormitory along with 6ix9ine.
According to reports from a source that spoke with TMZ, the dormitory cleared for 6ix9ine usually harbours child predators, dirty cops, known informants and celebrity inmates like 6ix9ine.
This move have been reported to seriously anger other inmates.
However, 6ix9ine’s lawyer; Lance Lazzaro, has come out to debunk such claims. He said the reports are mere rumours and blatant lies.
