December 2020 Yoga Calendar – HONOR

Here is your Yoga With Adriene Free monthly Yoga calendar! No gimmicks, no catch. This is an offering to help you get on the mat regularly to cultivate balance and wellbeing. If you are intuiting that you might benefit from a regular and sustainable at home yoga practice – look no further. 

If this is your first time joining us, welcome! 

Each month, we come together as a community around a theme that inspires questions and guides intention for your practice both on and off the mat. 

The practices selected support your exploration of the theme, whether you are taking on the whole month or dropping in for a single whenever you like. 

The practices on the calendar are free and are all available on the Yoga With Adriene YouTube channel. When we include membership practices on the calendar, they are noted as FWFG practices and we also include alternate free YouTube practices on those days for those who are not members. 

This month’s free offering is an invitation to center your practice around the theme HONOR.

As we enter the end of 2020, we may naturally contemplate on what serves us most as individuals, and as a community at this time. We landed on the action of honoring as a tool for healing and growth, but also as a way to recognize and acknowledge the courage, resilience, and even perseverance that this year has asked us to procure. 

When I asked the community what they wanted to Honor in the month of December 2020, I received a beautiful, powerful, and overwhelming response that read quite simply, “myself.”

Others shared further on honoring the time and space for themselves, honoring their vulnerability, instincts, boundaries, and self worth. 

Many shared reflection on how they wanted to honor their loved ones, healthcare workers, connection with friends through a tumultuous year, community, and especially those lost this year… may they rest in peace. 

May this collection serve you in honoring your body, your mental health, your energy levels, and your ability to love yourself and serve others. 

May it guide you to honor who you are, and how far you have come this year. 

May it be an invitation to know yourself deeper, embrace solitude, hone strength in both body and spirit. And may it also be a reminder that you are never alone. 

May it help you honor where you are each day, practicing presence, so that you may build strength, so that you may rest when you need to, slow down more, and feel both flexible and empowered. 

Amongst the free YouTube videos you will also see a week of additional videos on the FWFG App, as we take on the 7 Day Chakra Ride, LIGHT. Anyone can participate in this 7 day journey through the chakras by choosing the free trial on the APP. This series is a bit more advanced, but modifications are offered and all are welcome. 

Learning to honor what is through my practice has changed my relationship with myself tenfold, and for the better. It has also taught me how to honor the experiences of others. 

Allow this collection of practices to be the thing each day that serves to honor your body and your breath so that you may continue to cultivate balance for optimal mental, emotional, and physical health.

“Yagi Level” by Lil Kesh is taken off his newly released music project – ‘Ecstasy’ EP. The EP consist of 8 solid tracks which had ‘All The Way‘ and ‘Agbani Darego‘ as the project lead singles both released this year 2020 and features gigantic collaborations with Naira Marley, Fireboy DML, Young Jonn, and Shaybo.

‘YAGI LEVEL’ is the first track on the project. It’s a pure rap record produced by Pheelz (Mr Producer aka Riii). On this Mr Miyagi announces his return to the Rap/Hip-pop game, he splits fire and drop bars upon bars with good flows.

“I’ll Kill You & Davido Will Get Me Out Of It,” – Lil Frosh’s Ex- Girlfriend, Gift, Shares More Horrible Experiences

Lil Frosh’s ex-girlfriend, Gift has shared more horrifying details about her relationship with the singer. 

It would be recalled that in a recent interview, Lil Frosh debunked her claims and explained his own side of the story. Lil Frosh stated that he would never do such to his girlfriend and insisted that the injury on her face was caused as a result of a dye allergy. He also shared screenshots of his conversations with her about the injury in a bid to clear his name.

However, in a recent interview with Daddy Freeze, Gift shared more shocking details about her experience with him. According to her,  he had removed her clothes, beat her up, and recorded her while she sobbed and begged for mercy. She added that the singer had bragged about killing her and getting away with because Davido was going to make sure he goes scot-free.

The “Crossroads” EP is a journey into something new, eclectic, rhythmic , and refreshingly different. Using a mix of English, Yoruba and pidgin, and a medley of sounds deliberately arranged to stun and delight at the same time, Vector and MASTAA introduce us to a tune that adopts signature from all kinds of African sound, fused it nicely with the rhythm and pace that’s unique to rap and created a revolution – Rapfrobeat.

This ‘No Worries’ track is a dance tune that heavy on the South African Amapiano sound.
