Can “Aza” Ever Be As Big As “Fake Love”? | TX Review

Abi you wan see my wire Oya say your Aza Omo say your Aza Baby save your… Ogini this, ogini that?

The comeback and rise of Duncan Mighty in 2018 will go down in history as one of the fastest and amazing thing to happen. His first single of the year “Fake Love” blew in our fast all thanks to the contribution of Starboy Wizkid.

Duncan Mighty now hopes to replicate the success of that as he teams up with DMW boss, Davido and label act, Peruzzi on new single titled “Aza”.

Here what we think about the song.

@manlikeyhusuff  Listening to Aza, one just realizes that our Nigerian acts should take more time in song writing or preferably employ song writers. Not a great song when it comes to the lyrics but the vocal delivery and beat production deserve some appraisals.

@qwin_aisha I honestly don’t know if the song deserves to be called a hit. Yes, we had nice vocals from the artistes but then we need meaningful lyrics also. This song has an awesome tune which please the ears but It has absolutely no meaning unlike “Fake Love”- which has an actual relatable theme.

@dahnieelz The Duncan Mighty sound can do no wrong, it is refreshing and all time smooth. However to sell that sound, you need Davido’s name & face and Peruzzi’s vibe. These are the combination that will make “Aza” a huge single couple of weeks from now. Is it going to top “Fake Love”? I think so.
