Ruger, a Nigerian vocalist, recently visited Bingham University in Karu, in the state of Nasarawa, accompanied by his team.
During his visit, he was met by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. William Barnabus Qurix, who expressed surprise at the singer’s physical appearance.
Qurix stated that he had not been aware that the singer was a young man, as it had come as a surprise to him, as he had seen on television that he appeared to be a young man.
A video of the encounter has gone viral, in which Prof. Qurix greeted the “Girlfriend” singer with a handshake, expressing his hope that he would become a prominent figure in the future.
“I can’t believe this; I can’t believe you are a small boy. Welcome, I thought he was going to be one mighty man,” he said.
