Nigerian singer, Davido has made a vow to protect the interest of Orphans after a fan shared the plans of some welfare officers.
We earlier reported that some Nigerians were angry that Davido donated #250 million to orphanages instead of clearing his Rolls Royce.
A Twitter user said her mother revolted against it when she told her about Davido’s donation. According to her, welfare officers will steal the money and won’t take care of the children. She disclosed that this is one of the reasons nurses never leave welfare homes when they are posted there.
Reacting to the news, Davido said he will make sure that never happens. He promised to oversee things so that greedy welfare officers won’t take a dime out of the money.
