Sensational singer, Simi, and her husband have lamented over the poor healthcare system in Nigeria.
The couple have been quite active on social media and have constantly used their platform to create awareness for the continuous spread of the diseases. Both singers are upset about the already poor health care system and are wondering how Nigeria would survive the pandemic.
Simi took to her Twitter page to state that she had always been scared about the healthcare system in Nigeria and now all citizens have to face the music. She added that Bad karma would come for the bad people that refused to fix it and also finds it awful that the innocent people would have a share too. She wrote: “The health sector has always been the one I was most fearful about. Now we all have to face the music. Bad karma for the people that should have fixed it and didn’t, but even the innocent people will share in the karma. It’s awful.”

Adekunle Gold, on the other hand, pointed out that the virus is for both the rich and poor and sadly the already broken health system can not save anyone. He wrote: “Coronavirus is a leveler. Rich or not in Nigeria, you fall sick? you are stuck. A very sad reminder of our broken healthcare system.
