Nigerian afro-fusion singer, Oxlade has thanked Wizkid for his support towards the release of his new EP “Oxygene”
The singer released his debut EP “Oxygene” a few days and its numbers are doing quite well. All six songs from his EP debuted on the Naija Top 20 Apple Music charts in under 24 hours which is quite impressive for a debut body of work. Thousands of music lovers and even other artistes have taken to social media to commend his effort on the EP.
Taking to his Twitter account, Oxlade sent a shout out to Wizkid and appreciated him for his support. Recall that the singer was one of the artistes that performed at Wizkid’s O2 show in London so their relationship comes as no surprise. According to him, the “Joro” singer gave him the confidence he needed to make the release of his EP a successful one.
He wrote: “Shout out to @wizkidayo men Big bro’s been giving me every form of confidence I need ….#SURULERE” He further revealed that one of the tracks “O2” on the Ep was inspired by his experience at Wizkid concert.
