Davido has accepted the apology of a fan who claimed that he slapped Rema at the Big Brother Naija Grand finale.
Earlier today, Rema broke the internet after he called out those that are envious of his fame and fortune. He also challenged political party, PDP over the death of his father 12 years ago. There were also speculations that the reason for his sudden outburst was due to his clash with the DMW crew at the season finale of the Big Brother Reality Show. Rumors of the “FEM” singer slapping Rema also surfaced online and it immediately spread like wildfire.
A fan who seems to be behind these speculations took to twitter to explain that his tweet about Davido slapping Rema was a joke and a lie. “Guys this tweet about Davido slapping Rema was just a joke and a lie.” Davido responded saying it wasn’t fair because people actually believed his words and added that he is also human too.
In another tweet, the fan apologized again for his harmless joke which seemed to have hurt the feelings or tarnished the image of the DMW crew.”I tweeted something earlier today that might have hurt the feelings or come off as a means to tarnish the image of the DMW crew, I felt it was a harmless joke and I didn’t mean it. I’m sorry and i hope my apologies are accepted.”.
