Welcome to Dedicate!

Today is the official kick off for your 30 Day Yoga Journey! In this orientation video I share my top three tips for success with the program. You have already said yes to dedicating this time to tone muscle, improve mobility, clear your mind, and focus inward. Use today to set an intention and prepare for the journey ahead.

This is a 30 Day Journey about uncovering your authentic self. It’s not about re-creating, emulating or copying someone else. Trust me, trust your self. You just get your butt to the mat and together we will find the rest. I promise.

If you are healing from an injury or brand new to yoga – you can do this program. You will just need to modify, as will every single one of us at some point on the journey.

The practices in this program are absolutely suitable for pregnant women, with some modifications. Avoid twists below the neck and core work, and always ask your doctor for advice based on where you are in your pregnancy. When in doubt, supplement your twists and core work with slow and loving breathing.

Exclusive! Unforgettable Moments From Davido Live 2018 || See Photos

The Davido live concert at the Eko Atlantic, was a total shutdown experience.

OBO absolutely killed it at his Eko Atlantic show yesterday night. Being that it was a culmination of a variety of events, the epoch night held very high expectations which were all met to detail. However, it remains noteworthy how herculean a task it was to pull off in just twelve days, a plan for arguably the city’s biggest and hotly anticipated musical convergence. Nonetheless, Davido rose to the occasion having achieved a sold-out status for his Lagos concert split minutes to show time thereby pace-setting on a new feat.

This edition of the Davido live in concert series was especially designed to imprint finely on the minds of guests present. Aesthetics happened to be the physical theme of the concert this year as all the elements from the high and bright lights to the hues created by the primary palettes, were done to consistent moderation.

Davido’s entrance was literally grand and full of suspense. His appearance on stage was met with shocking excitement and a bit of theatrics. OBO was strapped and suspended high in the air above ground level, and at the cue of his opening number, Dami Duro, he successfully attempted a soft-landing on the platform before breaking into the musical line-up for the first of his 3-part performance that night.

Zanku dancing, and rounds of sing-alongs was the order of procession at the night of Davido live. Even at that, the concert arena held more promises in magic and memories created from the guest superstars that turned up that night, some of whom even shared the stage with him. From the voices of Burna Boy, Runtown, Duncan Mighty, Falz the Bahd Guy, Reminisce, 9ice, Zlatan Ibile, Lil Kesh, Oladips, MC Galaxy, Ice Prince, Small Doctor, Danny S, B-Red and DJ Neptune that added plenty spice and a little more extra, to the presence of Naeto C, Reekado Banks, Skiibii, Sean Tizzle, LAX and Kizz Daniel that added more colour, goodness was indeed made very attractive.

Not forgetting the two lucky guests that were made instant millionaires that night, the sold-out concert also had some rib-cracking side attractions; one of which was in the form of a dance-off between DJ E-Cool and Dadaboy Ehiz who handled hosting duties that night. Guests also enjoyed the indefatigable persons of Kenny Blaq and Broda Shaggi managing the comedy interludes, and King Spesh’s phenomenal forte in the hype division.

Every moment at the Davido live concert was stellar as it was special too. From the featured acts who shared the stage, to the guest appearances of his daughters Imade & Hailey, and his boo, Chioma with whom he had an intimate performance for the song Assurance, the promise of a beautiful orchestration was delivered to us in full.

It’s become an annual tradition for our industry superstars to treat the fan community to a one-of-a-kind musical experience as part of activities to celebrate a successful and eventful year. Certain music stars have an impressive record for taking the icing when it comes to staging shows and one of such is Davido.

Although we feared there might not be a Davido Live in Lagos concert this year by reason of his political meddle which led to an alleged disappointment in his venue of choice but imagine how our hearts lit up following the news that he would afterall be hosting a live show in Lagos.

It will be happening live at the Eko Atlantic tonight and so here are 5 reasons why you shouldn’t miss this experience.

Davido has said that if you won’t be able to make his 02 Arena concert in London, then you dare not miss the Eko Atlantic show in Lagos. With so much planning going underway for the London installment of the Davido ‘live on stage’ series, OBO is gifting his fans from the grassroots, an experience worth treasuring by revealing peeks of what London has waited several months to behold.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has a couple of women in their feelings, one of which claims the rapper fathered her child.

Marlayna who goes by @layna_x3  on Instagram has recently uploaded a picture of her baby. Her caption refers to her fight to prove he is the true father of her child: “This is annoying to have to post….but y’all see wassup.” View the photo after the jump to evaluate the alleged resemblance.

Layna and Sara, Tekashi’s known baby mamas, have been sparring online recently. Sara asked the new comer to ”Stop beefing with everybody Danny sticks his d**k in.” She ended her message by wishing her rival a Merry Christmas.

The shade that followed was harsh. Layna brought the children to the forefront of the issue because of some shady behavior she claims to have noticed coming from Sara: “This salty ass b**ch likes eery comment that says my daughter don’t look like her dad…. be fulfilled as a person with your own kid, stop clocking mines.”

Chris Brown Charged To Court Over Owning A Pet Monkey, Set To Face Jail Sentence

While some people have the general belief that a dog is a man’s best friend, others feel the urge to buy monkeys.

Although the interesting creatures can be purchased as pets in many countries, the laws in the United States require an owner to have a proper permit to own the animal. Chris Brown must have missed that part of his monkey manual though.

Chris is in trouble with the law yet again. This time though, the charges stem from the talented singer’s pet monkey. As reported by TMZ, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office is charging Brown with two counts of owning a restricted species without a permit.

The violations carry a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail. Brown brought home the baby capuchin monkey named Fiji and allowed his daughter to play with the pet on his social media. If you recall, that wasn’t well accepted.

Chris was forced to give up the pet after a horde of people online reported him to the authorities. At the time, which was at the top of 2018, we reported that he would possibly get hit with criminal charges.

Those charges have finally been filed. Breezy is due in court on February 6, and hopefully, he’s only hit with a few fines.

Davido after having a phenomenal 2017, continues in that realm in 2018 as he has done brilliantly too. The singer who arguably has the biggest highlight of 2018 after the glamour and controversy that surrounded his 2018 smash hit single, “Assurance,” has featured on a number of hit songs this year. He has featured on DJ Ecool’s “Ada,” DMW’s “Mind” & “Aje” and a host of others.

He has mixed both his personal work very well with that of his label’s which has seen him enjoy his success as well as that of Mayorkun, Peruzzi & Dremo who are DMW signee.

Do you think he deserves the most awards this year?

Wizkid

The starboy has been awesome in the year 2018, it took him 10 months to release a single of his but you will never believe if you are not a true music fan as he has a number of hits that he immensely contributed to, already before the release of his first single in 2018.

Wizzy had his label Starboy Worldwide release arguably the biggest hit song of 2018 when “Soco” was dropped.  Aside “Soco,” he’s featured on smashing hits like DJ Spinall’s “Nowo,” “Fake love,” “Kana” and many others. And just like Davido, Wizkid can lay claim to having the biggest highlight of 2018 in the music industry, when he released his highly controversial video for “Fever” which featured Tiwa Savage.

Contrary to previous reports, Cardi B has asserted that her latest rendezvous with Offset in Puerto Rico was not the result of any reconciliation, but rather a business-like  interaction when she and her estranged husband were photographed on a jet ski in the Caribbean nation. On Saturday, Cardi took to Instagram to clear the air and give the backstory behind the photograph.

According to the “Money” rapper, the jet ski instructor tricked Cardi into letting him take her picture

Cardinsaid, “Let me tell you something about the jet ski n-gga, right?” she says in the video. “The instructor or whatever the fuck he is — he was taking pictures of us on his phone like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna send you these pictures so you guys can have a memory and I’m going to delete it.’ I’m like, ‘Oh ok.’”

“What type of professional shit is that,” she adds after revealing that the instructor is the one who sold the photo to the media.

She goes on to hold up a copy of the company’s brochure and warns those online to stay away from the company.

Before the clip ends, someone seems to ask Cardi why she was with Offset in the first place, and the answer is quite simple: “I just had to get fucked. That’s all,” she says before slyly turning to look back at the camera.

You would recall there was a time this year that Wizkid had a very blown issue with his baby mamas. The baby mamas called him out for abandoning his responsibilities on his other children while publicly displaying his efforts on Zion; the child he had with his manager, Jada P.

Sola, his first baby mama released Whatsapp conversations between her and the superstar, revealing how Wizkid abandoned his son; Boluwatife and making empty promises.

Sometime later, his second baby mama also called him out for doing the same thing to their son, Ayo.

The Eko Atlantic played host to Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos Festival” yesterday night and it was really a night of fun and shocking revelations.

Contrary to the wide spread belief of  music fans that Wizkid actually resurrected the career of popular Niger Delta musician; Duncan mighty,  after the latter ran to him to beg for a collaboration for “fake love”, a 2018 single dropped by Duncan Mighty where he featured the Starboy, Wizkid cleared the air saying the reverse was the case.

During his performance at his “Made in Lagos” concert, he said  he was actually the one that begged Duncan for the collaboration. Wizkid made this revelation to put a full stop to the arguments between his fans and ordinary music fans about who begged who for the collaboration.

Why I Shot Davido’s “Wonder Woman” – Dammy Twitch

There is always that one video that you know as a music video director you will always be remembered for. That video that will probably give you the big break every director needs to reach the heights in his career.

 

“I was in Mayotte when I first heard the song. David played it for me and talked about what he wanted for the video. As soon as I heard Wonder Woman, I knew the direction I wanted to go with the video. David, Asa and I came up with the concept of the video. It all played out in my head, and I am proud that I was able to achieve that, with the help and ideas from Davido, his manager and his team. The idea was brought about David, Asa and I.” Dammy said.

 

David wanted to talk about women empowerment with the video and there is no better way to celebrate women empowerment than through music.

 

The video promotes women empowerment and features cameo appearances from popular women that are successful in their fields. Some of the women are Kaffy, Omawumi, Hauwa Ojeifo, Tokini Peterside, Adetutu Alabi, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Uche Pedro, Chioma Ude, Abisoye Ajayi-Akinfolarin, Tara Fela-Durotoye, Betty Irabor, Sophie Momodu, Nadine Ibrahim, Fisayo Longe, Misi (fashion designer), Faridah Kahlo and Davido’s daughters Aurora Imade Adeleke and Hailey Veronica Adeleke. The video not only celebrates these women but all women around the world who are making a difference in today’s society no matter how little or the challenges they face.

 

We just showed these women in particular as inspirations to a lot of other women other there who look up to them and aspire to be like them. It just helps us tell our story better.

 

I have shot a selection of music videos, featuring acts such as DJ Consequence, Lil Kesh, Preto, Olamide. Also shot most of the recent DMW videos like, Aje, Twisted and Bigger Meat by Dremo but this was different, this hit the spot for me.

 

I believe that Wonder Woman is that video from me, and 20 years from now, it will still have that same aesthetic value as it does today.

Cardin B made a public announcement of her breakup with her husband and baby daddy; Offset, a couple of weeks ago which sent fans into a total disbelief.

It is now being reported that both of them have gotten back together, though this phase in their relationship might only be temporary. According to E!News, the rap stars are coming together to offer their daughter a warm holiday season.

Offset had made a public apology by crashing his partner’s Rolling Loud set, a grandiose display that was not received as he had hoped. A source close to the couple said that although Cardi was “not pleased” by the gesture, she “understands where he is coming from and appreciates that he is trying.”

Another insider specified that the bond is being tightened at least temporarily to give their baby; Kulture, some joyful memories as a family.

“Cardi B wants Offset to be a part of Kulture’s life and wants him to spend Christmas with his daughter. It’s Kulture’s first Christmas and it means a lot to Cardi to have the family together.”

Another source had previously stated, “She isn’t ready to take him back. Cardi is trying to keep focused and keep her head clear until she figures out what she wants to do.”

Details Of Nicki Minaj’s Boyfriend’s Cold Blooded Manslaughter Case Appear

The obsession with Nicki Minaj’s new relationship continues. The Barbz were shocked when they learned that Nicki was dating Kenneth Petty, a man who has done hard time for manslaughter.

TMZ broke the story, and now they’ve returned with even more information about the killing.

While the details behind Petty’s sex offender status are still murky, we now have a clear vision of the shooting that took place in 2002 which landed Petty behind bars.

According to TMZ, sources within law enforcement claim the killing was over “bullshit.”

Petty drove to the crime scene with a car full of cronies on an early morning in April 2002. Lamont Robinson was doing his thing on a Queens, New York corner when Petty rolled up, got out of the car, and shot him in the stomach three times.

Law enforcement sources claim that Petty fled the scene in the vehicle. Investigators do not believe that the shooting was connected to a robbery, but instead concluded that it was motivated by gang rivalry.

It was an alleged targeted hit. According to court documents acquired by the media site, Robinson identified Petty when cops brought him a photo line up in the hospital.

He was unable to speak, so head nods for “yes” and “no” were accepted. Robinson died in the hospital soon after. Petty was charged with 2nd-degree murder, but took a plea for 1st-degree manslaughter. He served 7 years in prison.

Offset and Cardi B spotted Having Fun In Puerto Rico

It looks like the “Take Me Back Cardi” campaign paid off in the end. According to TMZ, Offset and Cardi B were spotted together again in Puerto Rico earlier today.

It’s unsure whether Cardi B and Offset have made amends, but they did look boo’d up earlier today while they were spotted jetskiing in Puerto Rico.

Cardi and Offset were reportedly there with friends. From what it seems like, Offset’s efforts to win back his wifey has worked out.

Eyewitnesses said they were laughing and playing together in the waters.

However, there hasn’t been any confirmation that the two have got back together.

There was also no sign of their daughter Kulture, but there’s a good chance she was there as well. Cardi B is set to perform tonight at the Electric Holiday festival in San Juan.

Cardi B initially announced their break-up at the top of the month and since then, Offset’s been doing his best to win her over.

It looks like Offset’s wish to spend Christmas with Kulture and Cardi could become a reality.

However, Cardi will be performing in Sydney for New Year eve so maybe they won’t be ringing in the new year together.

The night of December the 19th, 2018 will never be forgotten in the minds of true hip-hop music fans and lovers. Dremo who has had a great year with banging music singles and videos released, as well as a much-anticipated album project titled ‘Codename’ took to the FreeMe Space in Lekki on Wednesday night to wrap up the year 2018 with what has been adjudged as the biggest Afro and Hip-Hop concert ever staged, dubbed “Codename Live”.

Dremo’s Codename Live concert brought a variety of music stars, and members of the hip-hop music fandom from far and wide. The show which was packaged also as a platform to present new and buzzing talents started off with performances from opening acts which included unsigned artistes, underground rappers and rib-cracking comic personalities from the creative industry.

Dremo later took the stage amidst celebratory roars and cheers from his guests present first to specially recognize and appreciate the presence of his immediate family; all of whom showed up in support of his first ever headline concert by adorning themselves in custom-design tees with the his face on it, after which he delved into a performance of songs from his catalog of music hits profiled from his time under the APG-led management to the current DMW era.
