Omoni Oboli Reacts To Fan Who Called Her Out For Not Assisting During The Pandemic

Nigerian movie star, Omoni Oboli has reacted after one of her fans called her out for not lending a helping hand to her during the pandemic.

According to a post shared by the actress, the lady reached out during the Covid pandemic asking for assistance after her husband lost his job.

After the said fan waited for about for a while, she reached back to Omoni, stating that she expected her alert but to no avail. However, she added that they now have good jobs and enough to take care of themselves.

Reacting to all of this, Omoni shared a lengthy post to address the situation. PS: Adetutu, I’m glad my ignoring you (even though I never even saw your initial message. You should see how full my dm is) taught you a very vital lesson in life. NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE YOU! It’s left to you and God to design the life you want.

The actress expressed detest toward the sense of entitlement as she reminded the fan that it is left to her to design the type of life she wants.

Omoni also added that she never saw her message in the 1st place.

I came across this in my dm a few days ago and it seriously dampened my spirit!
If you followed me during the lockdown, you will testify to the fact that I did giveaways everyday! Millions was given away on this platform. As a matter of fact, I decided I was never giveaways anymore after that period for so many reasons.

It’s the entitlement that kills me! Like seriously! Do you know how hard I work! I’m up when your ass is in bed! WORKING! I don’t sleep as many hours as most people because my bills won’t pay themselves and my goals and dreams are bigger than most people! So I grind! Constantly working on several businesses including my day job which is Film! Right now, I’m in pre production for 2 jobs! About to shoot one in a couple of weeks while running my other businesses and being a full time wife and mother with no help! Went to bed at 4:30am cos I was doing bulk cooking for my family!

So nobody is entitled to my money except my kids and last I checked, I have just 3!!!
I started the #OmoniBusinessGrant this year because I still wanted to give (givers never lack. Believe that) but I wanted it to be targeted more at hustlers like me cos sometimes all you need is someone to believe in you. So keep pushing your business, never give up! Fast-rising singer, Portable is about to end his career with his parties, hookups and of course, embarrassing and portraying Kenyan women as prostitutes.

The Zazoo Zehh singer is being dragged and threatened with a lawsuit for his degrading video and comment about Kenyan women.

As seen in a new video shared by Portable, the singer was hanging out with friends when a lady approached him (to ask for a picture, maybe) and Portable simply told her “We are not here for hook up, you can go”.

A few hours later, Kenyan OAP, Black Cinderella called him out for disrespecting and embarrassing the fan. According to her, Kenyans might be big fans of his lousy music, but he has no right to embarrass and insult them in their country.

Black Cinderella dragged Portable for being a useless foreigner. According to her, other Nigerians come to the country to visit their national parks, tourist attractions sites, but Portable wants to die in a club and do hookup with Kenya girls.

She also dragged Portable’s hosts and sponsors for allowing for inviting him to their country as she told him he has overstayed his welcome. She demanded that Portable apologises to the lady he embarrassed as well other women for his comment or face legal actions.

Wizkid And Zlatan Finally Meet To Reconcile After Snubbing Each Other In 2021 | Watch Video

It is raining love, hugs and reconciliation for Nigerian celebrities in 2022.

In the early hours of Monday morning, Zlatan and Wizkid gave social media users something to happily end the month with.

The duo linked up at an event in Lagos and contrarily to what fans expected from them, they happily hugged each other.

Recall that social media users had a field day in December 2021, after Zlatan snubbed Wizkid at Buju’s Concert. You would recall Zlatan was dragged and re-dragged after Wizkid and Davido reconciled last week.

From the video below, Zlatan didn’t look like someone who snubbed Wizkid a month ago. Zlatan tried correcting that perception as he told Wizzy that there are no hard feelings between the two of them.

Nigerian artist, Davido and his ex-fiancee, Chioma are proving that they are friendly exes and the duo’s recent outing certainly showed that.

Apparently, this will be the second time Chioma and Davido will be spotted together since their break up in February 2021.

Cheslie Kryst, Former Miss USA, Dies At 30 By Suicide

Police reported that Cheslie Kryst jumped from a Manhattan 60-story apartment building and was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday morning.

Kryst, who lived on the 9th floor of the building, was alone when she jumped and was last seen on a 29th-floor terrace, according to New York Post.

Her family said, In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength.

Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on EXTRA. But most importantly, as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague – we know her impact will live on.

Ex-Big Brother Naija Housemate, Thelma has shared her terrible experience while living with one of her relatives as a kid.

Thelma shared via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter that a relative that she lived with, as well as, her husband maltreated her while she was with them.

According to her, the relative flogged her so much and at a point, she spat into her mouth so she could infect her with HIV, but God delivered her after a woman informed her mother of the maltreatment she is being subjected which prompted her mom to come for her.

She further revealed that these people who treated her unkindly died of HIV/AIDS shortly after she was taken away from them.

In her words: “Years ago when I was a kid staying with a relative of mine, she was married and was living with her husband but no child. This woman would flog me koboko in the night for no reason and the
husband would wake me up with koboko in the morning telling me it’s his turn. 2 things I can’t forget:

How she flogged me one day and spat into my mouth.
How God used a woman from my place to save me by traveling home to tell my mum to come to
carry me before I die. Long story short.

Few weeks after I left, the woman died afterward, the man died too. It was said that they were both living with HIV and AIDS and that woman wanted me to contract it by pitting into my mount but God said NO! I don’t know where they are now but I forgive them”

According to Mabel, God finally came through for her after having to go through horrid miscarriages that had no medical explanations, as well as, psychological and mental instability, which were the hardest to deal with because her emotions were all over the place.

This will definitely trigger my emotions, the plan was to close/open my eyes and make it all disappear but then again I thought to myself, Mabel you have to encourage someone out there.
Three miscarriages with no medical explanations as to the reasons why. It was the same pattern as before, every single thing that happened with the others, happened again, only this time more but I was determined to hold on tight to God and not fail.

Anal bleeding, threatened miscarriage, difficulty in breathing,I wasn’t psychologically and mentally stable and that,was the hardest part for me,my emotions were all over the place,taking a deep breath in and out to stop myself every time I felt the urge to just break down and cry,struggling within not to blame myself for not protecting and fighting for the survival of the babies I lost,
placenta separation,weak uterus.

Truthfully I was exhausted,how I got here today is not something that I can explain but I just know that God was and is still with me and Ayomide,for this we are eternally grateful ?
You are God all by yourself and you will never share your glory with anyone.

What Music Fans Shouldn’t Expect After Davido and Wizkid’s 2022 Reconciliation

As it is well known in the entertainment industry that Wizkid and Davido are part of the artistes with very large fan bases, it is no news that there has been an existing feud between two of them.

However, 2022 started out well when the two artistes hugged each other at Club Quilox on a Friday night. It was a sweet and memorable moment as Davido approached Wizkid and initiated a warm embrace which lasted for a while.

It is expected that many more positive collaborations will spring forth from this reconciliation. Seeing things in a different light, Davido and Wizkid’s fans should not expect the following:

• A COLLABORATION

A hit song from two big ones in the music industry would be anticipated, but there are reasons not to see that coming. The two artistes have their ego and pride to maintain as influential celebrities. None of them would want to seem like the one who is featured. Instead, they would want to be the one who featured the other. Who will wear the crown of self adulation?

Apart from this fact, fans of both artistes will definitely compare who killed the song better than the other. This might be the genesis of another huge rift between the both of them.

• DAVIDO TO BRING WIZ OUT FOR HIS O2

Owing to the fact that Wizkid sold out the 02 Arena at his three-day ‘Made in Lagos’ concert held at London, Davido might not bring Wizkid for his performance there. If he does, it might seem like he did it for an influence on his performance. It might be misinterpreted by Wizkid’s fans as him leveraging on the huge impact Wizkid made in his last performance.

Also, Davido might want to prove a point that he can do what his fellow musician did, and even more. Hence, keeping out Wizkid from his performance.

Tracing the genesis of their feud, the trolls and insults started in 2017. Wizkid tweeted about Davido’s voice, comparing it to a frog’s. According to Wizkid, “Yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice.”

It was on Twitter that this was let out. Ever since then, Wizkid FC and Davido FC have been at loggerheads with each other, even after the artistes reconciled late 2017. The constant opposition is because of the dislike of one artiste, which automatically makes such person a fan of the other.

Even if the two artistes seem happy with each other now, their fans will not easily let go of their diehard nature and loyal utterances about their favourite artiste. This is like a fire that is burning slowly. Anything can spark it up again.

When comparisons are made between both artistes, neither of them come out to correct fans or debunk such statements. It seems both of them are fine with the constant brawls. This is the music industry, where the best is not permanent. Their settlement cannot be permanent.
