DJ Neptune is the man of the moment especially since the unveiling of his well-anticipated album titled “Greatness” which held last night at the Nooks Lounge, Lekki Lagos, where guests were treated to an exclusive listening session of all 15 tracks housed on multi-versed body of work.
Speaking to international DJ Neptune during his Catch-Up session on TooXclusive TV, he gave insight on #GreatnessTheAlbum clearly stating out reasons for the sound direction, which according to him, was created deliberately to pack on a vibey and pan-African feel considering his quest to break into newer terrain, having successfully conquered his host locale.
#GreatnessTheAlbum features a variety of artistes from both the West and East African regions but the one collaboration that seems to be pulling all the attention is the number one track, which according to Neptune is his personal favourite. Track one features the Abaga brothers – Jude (M.I) and Jesse Jagz. The excitement is because the last time the industry had the royals on a track was the year 2015 when Jesse returned to the Choc Boi Nation fold and the label’s compilation album ‘The Indestructible’ was put out in honour of that feat.
Neptune tells us how he got that to happen in this video.
