Our exclusive interview with break-out producer, Killertunes continues in this second-part video where he talks on more topical subjects relating to his music production craft and general discussions on the Nigerian industry.
Touted as the Afrobeat god because of his stellar efforts in that music division, Killertunes who now enjoys an accolade deserving association with Africa’s international Starboy, Wizkid, delved a bit into his working stint with takeover star, Kiss (now Kizz) Daniel especially on the song “Yeba“.
Yeba has been described by many using words like unusual and one of a kind by reason of its difference in sound. Killertunes shared the Kiss Daniel success story behind that song. He narrated how he played the beat for many other artistes who all ended up rejecting it, but only the former G-Worldwide signee accepted the challenge and made a classic hit from it.
He also spoke on the concept of winning awards, airing his sentiments on the politics involved; why he won’t have a Producer album like many of his colleagues do (or are doing); and how he thinks it is a stupid thing for people to compare him to FreshVDM of Davido’s music worldwide establishment.
