Davido Reacts As Donations Made By Private Companies To Fight COVID-19 Hits 19.488 Billion Naira

Davido has reacted to the donations that have been made by Nigerian citizens and companies to combat Coronavirus in the country.

The contributions to the Private Sector Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) set up by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to raise funds to combat Coronavirus hit the total of 19.488 billion naira. The likes of Aliko Dangote, Jim Ovia , Femi Otedola, Segun Agbaje, and other banks have all contributed.

Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke also donated the sum of 750 million naira to the Osun state government to help those affected financially by the disease. Davido has reacted to the new list with a message on Instagram. The “Risky” singer hopes that the government would make sure to use the funds to good use. He wrote:  “to everyone else that contributed !! Now let’s make sure the government puts these funds to good use !!”
