Mavin boss, Don Jazzy has penned a tribute for Dr. Stella, the Nigeria Doctor who died while fighting Ebola in 2014.
Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh died on this day in 2014. She had never seen Ebola before but was able to diagnose and contain Nigeria’s first-ever Ebola patient, Patrick Sawyer, in quarantine. 6 years after her passing, Nigerians have taken to social media to mourn her death and Don Jazzy wasn’t left out.
Taking to his Twitter page, he wrote: “We lost one of Nigeria’s best and courageous physicians, Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, on this day in 2014. She was one of the front line doctors who helped curb the spread of the Ebola epidemic in Nigeria. The life-endangering roles she played will always be remembered. R.I.P Heroine.
