Omah Lay’s growth in Nigerian music has been massive since he dropped his critically acclaimed EP “Get Layd” on the 22nd of May, 2020. This EP which is still the number one (No.1) EP in the country at the moment had all 5 songs from the EP featuring on Top Nigerian music charts.

On the 1st of April, 2020, the EP hit over 500,000 streams, on the 12th of June, 2020, it hit 20,000,000 streams an now it has accumulated over 120, ooo,ooo streams. This huge feat was achieved in just 4 months making it one of the fastest streamed African EPs of all time ad it is expected to surpass a billion streams before the end of the year. Maybe.
