On Tuesday, the 23rd of Nov, the Recording Academy announced the nominees for the prestigious Grammy awards.
Twitter felt the heat after Wizkid bagged two nominations: Best Global Music Album for his Made in Lagos Deluxe edition and “Best Global Music Performance” for Essence. Tems will also be receiving a Grammy for her contribution to Essence if the song wins.
Wizkid’s fans took to social media to celebrate their fave nomination. Wizkid’s protege, Starboy took to IG to congratulate Wizkid. He reposted the picture and captioned it “Only Grace, Deep in it!”. Buju captioned his; “Love you forever @wizkdayo”
As expected fans had something to say about the harmless congratulatory posts. While it wasn’t all negative, they decided to taunt Terri and remind Buju of all the things he said about Wizkid in the past.
