While other Nigerian celebrities may be too scared to comment on the ongoing Protest, Simisola isn’t.
The Afropop songstress and mother of one took to Instagram to bare her heart on the ongoing June 12 protest. She disclosed that she is indeed anxious of the outcome of the protest, following the threats made by The FG (Federal Government). According to Simi, She doesn’t really know what to expect from The protest, but Nigerians should try to be safe.
She also advised courageous protesters to be careful at the protest grounds irrespective of the hurdles waiting for them to distract them from the cry of a good government.
Speaking at the Democracy day celebrations, Simi stated that Nigeria has nothing to celebrate As her citizens are still bound by the chains of bad leadership.
